Electrical Vehicle i-MiEV

MITSUBISHI promos for their new type of vehicle, i-MiEV electrical car for convenience. It can be charged by use the 3-pin plug we have in our houses. Once the battery is fully charged, the car can travel for about 160KM.

This vehicle now only available in Japan. Due to the availability of user, MITSUBISHI tries to think a solution to cut cost and estimate will only greatly produce this type of vehicle on the year of 2010. The highest speed of i-MiEV is 130KM/hour.

According to the designer, i-MiEV will be fully charged using 100V and required 14 hours to charged. However, if use 200V then the time of charging will be reduced into half. If recharge half an hour, i-MiEV can travel about 120KM.

Currently, the price of i-MiEV is RM 110,000.00 sold at Japan.
